Firepunk Full Manual Valve Body (FMVB)

This is full manual control. The transmission will not shift automatically. You control every gear, Overdrive, and TCC lockup.

Every Firepunk FMVB is completely torn down, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt in-house at our Ohio facility. Each unit is vacuum tested to verify proper sealing and dyno tested to confirm pressure and function before it ships. If a valve body does not meet our specifications, it is corrected before leaving our shop.

The FMVB eliminates common failure points by removing the governor pressure solenoid, transducer, and TV cable. This gives you direct mechanical control of the transmission.

Each unit includes new OD and TCC solenoids with a new wiring harness, a heavy duty 1–2 accumulator spring, and a new filter. All valve bodies are built for firm, quick shifts with improved 3–4 shift performance.

This is not a stock replacement. It is built for full driver control, higher horsepower applications, and aggressive use.


Choosing Your Valve Body

You’ll select your setup using the dropdowns. Here’s what each option means:

Build Options:

Line Pressure

Split Pressure (Recommended)
140–150 PSI in 1st–3rd
190–200 PSI in OD/TCC
Balanced for street and track use

Constant Pressure
190–200 PSI in all gears
Firmer shifts with increased holding capacity
Runs hotter and adds load to the pump
For high horsepower and race use


TCC Lockup

2–3–4 Lockup (Recommended)
Most common for street and track use

1–2–3–4 Lockup
Allows 1st gear lockup
Used in sled pulling, racing, or low gear load situations
