Run a 5.9 common rail Cummins on its own, with no factory body, chassis or transmission modules. The Firepunk Engineering standalone harness powers a CM849 ECM mounted in its factory spot on the side of the block. It's built for body swaps, pull trucks and race builds, and it will even run the engine on a stand with just a battery and fuel.

What's included

  • OBD-II port for tuning, scanning and CSP5 tune switching
  • Pedal connector for a 2005-2006 Dodge Ram accelerator pedal (APPS)
  • Power, ground and run/start wiring to power up the ECM

You'll also need

  • A CM849 ECM
  • A standalone tune file
  • A 2005-2006 Dodge Ram accelerator pedal (APPS)

Switch tunes on the fly: the CM849 supports EFILive CSP5, which lets you switch between five tunes while driving. Plug a CSP5 switch into the harness's OBD-II port.

Manual or automatic: works with either. An automatic needs a full manual valve body or a standalone transmission controller.

Moving the ECM into the cab later? A firewall connector is available as an option.

Ships in 3-5 business days.

***This is not a factory replacement harness! It is designed for motor/chassis swaps and competition use.***
