Run a 5.9 common rail Cummins on its own, with the ECM moved inside the cab, away from engine heat, vibration and water. The Firepunk Engineering standalone harness powers a CM849 ECM and passes through the firewall on a dedicated firewall connector. Each harness is built to fit your truck, for body swaps, pull trucks and race builds.

What's included

  • OBD-II port for tuning, scanning and CSP5 tune switching
  • Pedal connector for a 2005–2006 Dodge Ram accelerator pedal (APPS)
  • Power, ground and run/start wiring to power up the ECM
  • Firewall connector

You'll also need

  • A CM849 ECM
  • A standalone tune file
  • A 2005–2006 Dodge Ram accelerator pedal (APPS)

Switch tunes on the fly: the CM849 supports EFILive CSP5, which lets you switch between five tunes while driving. Plug a CSP5 switch into the harness's OBD-II port.

Manual or automatic: works with either. An automatic needs a full manual valve body or a standalone transmission controller.

How ordering works: after you order, send us two measurements:

  1. From the top center of the valve cover to where the ECM will mount. The price covers up to 48 inches.
  2. The power and ground run. The price covers up to 24 inches.

Anything longer is charged per extra foot.

Ships 3–5 business days after we receive your measurements. This is not a factory replacement harness.
